| The
Bayou Bandits drop the first game of the season 9-6 against the Baton
Rouge Yankees. The Bandits jumped to a 5-1 lead after 4 innings. The
Yankees made a comeback in the later innings to take the victory in 8
innings which was stopped due to time limit. The Bandits were led
offensively by Nick Boudreaux (2-3, 3B, 2B ), Chris Dumatrait (3-4), and
Kyle Poirier (3-3). Jonathan Kohn (0-1) took the lost on the mound,
pitching a complete game and striking out 16. The Bandits face the
Red Sox (1-0) who won 13-3, next week at Christian Life Academy @ 12:45
p.m.
