Bandits Win by Forfeit 

The Devil Rays (0-8) forfeited the game on Sunday to the Bayou Bandits with only 7 players showing up.  The Bandits had 8 players and played an 8 on 7 game.  The Devil Rays outscored the Bandits 13-7.  The game stats won't count for the regular season due to the forfeit, but Trase Guidry led the Bandits going 3-5 with a homerun, 2 runs, and 3 rbi's.  Blaine Serio also went 3-5 with 3 doubles, and 2 runs.  Other top hitters were Kyle Poirier (3-6, 3 runs, 2-2b's), Chris Dumatrait (2-6, 3B, 2 runs), and Kelly Caillier (2-4).  Trase Guidry started on the mound for the Bandits, going 5 innings, allowing 4 runs and striking out 1.  Blaine Serio came in relief pitching 2 innings, while Jonathan Kohn closed off the game pitching the last 2 innings.  
The Bandints move to 5-6 on the year, holding on to 8th place. The Bandits will face the Yankees on Sunday, June 26.  The Yankees defeated the Bandits 9-5 in the first game of the season.
