Bengals Defeat Bandits

Bengals runner slides in safely as catcher PJ Judice catches a throw from right fielder Trase Guidry.

Bengals (3-2) pitcher Jason Wilkins (3-1) held the Bandits to two runs, 7 hits, and striking out 6 batters.  The Bandits tried to make a comeback in the 9th inning, down 6-0, by scoring 2 runs. Saucier started the game and pitched 1 inning after leaving due to an arm injury.  Jonathan Kohn came in relief pitching the next 4 innings, allowing 3 runs on 3 hits, 6 BB, and striking out 3.  Blaine Serio made his debut on the mound for the Bandits, throwing 2 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits, and striking out 2 and walking 1 batter.  Trase Guidry closed off the game pitching 1 inning, allowing 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 BB, and 0 K's.
The Bandits were led offensively by PJ Judice (2-4, 1 run) and Nick Boudreaux (2-4, 2B, and 2 rbi's).
