LSUE is currenlty in the
JUCO World Series Semi finals in Millington Tennessee.
The championship game is
scheduled for Thursday night at 7:30 pm
(live score). Bad news for
Mace Hebert,
season one is coming to a close. Good news for the
Bandits, Hebert will be returning to the Bandits this
Sunday as LSUE wraps up the season. The Speedy
outfielder will help the offensive attack as the Bandits
look to continue its winning streak. Hebert was
clocked in the 60 yard dash at 6.25 seconds, and the 40
yard dash in 4.25 seconds. Hebert has 25 stolen
bases this season for LSUE.
The Bayou Bandits have picked up
Scott Hawkins,
freshman for the ULL Ragin Cajuns. Hawkins played
baseball at Collierville HS in Collierville, Tenn.…Named
a TPX All-American and Top-100 prospect by Baseball
America (75)…Helped the Dragons to the 2004 state
playoffs…Named All-District and All-Region in
2004…Helped CHS to a 38-8 record in 2003 and a 36-6
record in 2004…Posted a .558 batting average as a senior
driving in 58 runs…Once hit four homeruns in a single
game including a walk-off grand slam.
